Sea Edge Villa is part of a trio of beautifully designed Villas at Grace Bay on the world-famous Grace Bay Beach in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos. Each villa features luxurious décor in two levels of living space, multiple terraces, and breathtaking vistas of Grace Bay and Turtle Cove Marina. Viewed from the water, Sea Edge is the Easternmost villa on the left side of the grouping.
The comfortable and spacious beach-level living room features a 40” Google TV with web capabilities and a fantastic bay view. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready to grill freshly caught fish, or guests can use the BBQ grill on the pool patio. Take a dip in your private plunge pool while enjoying the view. In the morning, the large master bedroom upstairs gives a scenic view of the sunrise over Grace Bay. While enjoying the calm rolling bay at a distance, guests can enjoy soaking in the large granite tub. The upstairs balconies that look over either Grace Bay or Turtle Cove Marina are perfect for enjoying a romantic moment or with a tropical beverage in hand. Invite in the ocean breeze through the master bedroom by opening both patio doors to create a perfect Caribbean retreat.
The Villas at Grace Bay are conveniently located a short walk or drive from Turtle Cove Marina which offers six restaurants, various boating excursions, and a dive shop.
Notes:
• Our villas include a coffee maker, washer & dryer, gas BBQ grill, beach towels, hairdryers, iron/ironing board (upon request), and a starter supply of paper products (which are not replenished). Portable beach chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler are typically available but are not guaranteed. Baby gear, kayaks, and SUPs are not usually included but can be rented. Post-COVID, most of our villas do not include communal snorkel gear.
• Electricity is metered to discourage A/C use with open doors and windows. It is not expensive if used judiciously, and you are not charged for the first $150.00 per week in usage, after which you will be charged at the current rate per kilowatt-hour. This holiday villa has two separate air conditioning systems, so you only need to cool certain parts as needed. Water Edge gets a comfortable, almost constant trade wind, so it would be rare to exceed the AC allotment during your vacation.
• A $235 (+ tax) cleaning fee is added to the rental rate, and housekeeping services are provided once mid-week.
• Sea Edge is located almost directly on Smith's Reef; Smith’s Reef is widely regarded as offering the best snorkeling in the country. A strip of beach rock exists between the sand and the water partly because of this reef. Once you step over the rock, it mostly disappears, revealing a soft sandy bottom with excellent snorkeling just ahead.

Cancelation policy
Provided that the Rental Period does not overlap the dates of December 18 – January 2, Guest may cancel this Rental Agreement by giving written notice of cancellation to Agent on or before 90 days prior to arrival and paying a cancellation fee equal to twenty percent (20%) of the Rental Rate. Agent will confirm the cancellation in writing and include a cancellation number which Guest should retain as proof of cancellation. At any other time, for any reason, this Agreement is non-cancelable by Guest and shall remain in full force and effect. Guest shall remain fully responsible for all amounts due hereunder including, without limitation, the full Rental Amount, the Down Payment and any costs of collections and reasonable attorney's fees related to the enforcement of this Agreement.
Because of this strict cancellation policy, Owner and Agent strongly encourage Guest to obtain travel insurance. Agent may cancel this Agreement at any time should the Property be sold, out of order, deemed substandard by Agent, or otherwise unavailable for any reason. In such cases, Agent reserves the right to transfer Guest to a separate property that is similar to, or better than, the Property. If such transfer is not possible or Guest does not wish to be transferred, Agent will cancel the reservation and refund all payments made by Guest but Agent will not be liable for any other charges incurred by Guest. The foregoing is Agent's sole responsibility in the event the Property is unavailable for any reason. No shows, late arrivals, a reduction in number of persons in Guest's group, and early departures are entirely non-refundable. Refunds are not granted for disturbances at neighboring properties.

The Cafe restaurant was our favorite! Grace Bay was another favorite for sitting on the beach and soaking up the beauty of the island and its pristine turquoise water!

Yes, it is on the reef. It's at the end of A Very Long Beach. Several miles long. For bathing I would suggest you go to any of the public access points which are along the beach and next to hotels and condos. The one we found most convenient was next to the Renaissance Villas. There is a public lot and a short walk to get to the sand.
A rental car is a must.

A few things to note, when we first booked the property we hadn't been to this particular island and we didn't realize we needed a rental car because taxi's are pretty scarce... we didn't find this out until almost the last minute when the TCI management company asked me for my rental car info...but I would definitely suggest a rental car. There are a few restaurants around the turtle bay marina, but that's still probably a 15-20 minute walk and the streets are very are narrow, so we just drove. In addition, we booked an excursion but they wanted us to drive to them versus picking us up when we were not at an hotel.
We had a few glitches with the stay, but I still give it a five star review because the TCI staff handled it so promptly. After first arriving, we noticed we had a fire-ant problem inside the kitchen and my wife was bitten several times on her hands and both legs. The staff came over quickly (within 20 minutes) with ant traps and spray, and after a while that solved the problem. Also, our gas grill wouldn't light and they promptly responded (again with 20 mins) and they realized it wasn't something that could be easily fixed so they actually went and bought a new grill and had it up and running a few hours later.
Finally, a few other minor items, that are worth sharing --although the large round tub looks awesome in the photo's, it's pretty much unusable because the hot water heater is not large enough to even partially fill the tub. The pool also isn't heated so we only used it once, very briefly because it was just too cold (we visited the first week of March. so I'm guessing it may be fine in the summer months.
